Stand up for Jay Leno and free speech by sending a supportive letter or postcard prominently marked:
"I Support Jay Leno's Giuliani/Hitler remark"
to: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno 3000 W. Alameda Burbank Ca. 91523

The controversy surrounding NYC Mayor Giuliani's Art Decency Commission continues to grow. Cronies of the Mayor are organizing a coordinated attack on the Tonight Show's Jay Leno for daring to publicly state what every person in the media, academia, the civil rights legal community and the art world knows - Giuliani's art panel has striking similarities to the censoring of artistic expression by Adolf Hitler.

Leno outraged the Mayor by literally comparing him to Hitler during the Tonight Show's 4/6 broadcast and knowledgeably expounding on Hitler's "Degenerate Art Show" of confiscated modern German Art. Exactly paralleling Giuliani's efforts, Hitler targeted political art that criticized him, the Nazi party or aspects of German society, including churches, which had enabled the Nazi's rise to power.

Giuliani has a long history of losing it over being compared to Hitler. Besides ordering my arrest 41 times for painting him as a Hitler-like dictator he's verbally attacked the NY State Attorney General, various Congressmen, former NYC Mayors, City Council Members, police officials, ministers, demonstrators and reporters who dared to make the same comparison.

There's no mystery as to why Giuliani is so sensitive about being compared to the German dictator. Virtually all of Giuliani's controversial policy ideas are derived from the Manhattan Institute (MI) -a right wing think tank founded by Reagan's CIA chief William Casey.

MI has direct connections to former Nazis, scientific racism's modern classic, "the Bell Curve", eugenics experiments and the Holocaust. MI is funded by the Rockefeller family's Chase Manhattan Bank - one of the world's leading financial institutions which has publicly admitted to financially aiding Hitler and helping him seize billions of dollars from occupied European nations. This website has numerous articles documenting all of these connections.

On Tuesday night 4/10 at 11 PM on the Alan Colmes show I will be debating the Decency Commission with one of its members on radio station WEVD 1050 AM.

NBCTV is about to be inundated with letters demanding that Leno apologize to Giuliani and to the Jewish people. In order to silence his critics the Mayor routinely claims that comparing his policies to those of the Third Reich is an insult to Jews. He can be expected to rally an impressive lineup of Jewish New Yorkers with close ties to his administration as a chorus complaining about Leno's frank words.

Allow me, as a New Yorker who is proud to be Jewish, to put this in perspective:

To call someone a Hitler just because you don't like him or because he's cruel is ridiculous.

On the other hand, to call someone a Hitler who directly models many of his policies on those of the Nazis;

  • Who celebrates Martin Luther King's birthday by dining and posing for photos with Jorg Haider -the head of the Austrian neo-Nazi Party;
  • Who forces the NYPD into degrading itself into a racial-profiling Gestapo and then repeatedly insults the grieving families of their dead, innocent, unarmed or falsely-arrested victims;
  • Who gives the Rockefeller family -major Hitler supporters and half owners of IG Farben and Auschwitz - $65 million dollars in a single year for their private art collection (the Museum of Modern Art) while NYC school children bring letters home to their parents begging them to pay for pencils and crayons;
  • Who insists on spraying eight million constituents with nerve gas his own Chem-Bio Handbook claims was invented by the Nazis;
  • Who attacks serious art by Black Catholic artists as "indecent" while publicly parading about in women's clothes and using hundreds of thousands of tax dollars to pay for armed guards for his mistress;
  • Who has hundreds of artists falsely arrested and tens of thousands of works of fine art destroyed without ever finding a single defendant guilty...who then goes before the U.S. Supreme Court petitioning them to remove all First Amendment protection for paintings, photographs and sculptures because they, "do not express ideas"...

To call or compare such a man to Hitler
is simply to tell it like it is.

I'll leave you with a few quotes for those who those who have forgotten some of the many earlier Giuliani-Hitler controversies. Ask yourself this...If so many people from all walks of life see a valid comparison between Giuliani and Hitler can they all be wrong? Can they all - including Jewish elected officials and government leaders making this comparision - be anti-Semitic?

LENO RIPPED FOR 'FASCIST' JAB AT RUDY

William Fugazy, who heads an anti-bias group, yesterday called on NBC and comedian Jay Leno to apologize for labeling Mayor Giuliani a "fascist" on "The Tonight Show." Fugazy, head of the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations and a longtime ally of the mayor, said he was so incensed that his group will file a formal complaint with NBC tomorrow regarding the "disgraceful" remarks...Leno then went on to compare Giuliani's actions with Adolph Hitler's campaign in the first years of the Third Reich to rid German museums of "degenerate art," much of it created by the world's most respected artists.

Giuliani Criticized by Koch

NEW YORK (AP) -- Former Mayor Ed Koch criticized Mayor Rudolph Giuliani on Wednesday for sharing a dais at a Martin Luther King Day event with an Austrian political leader who once praised the policies of Adolf Hitler. ``Is that a place to celebrate Martin Luther King Day, to be on the same dais as the leader of the neo-Nazi Party in Austria?'' Koch said at a news conference. ``Why didn't he denounce Joerg Haider? Why didn't he order Joerg Haider out of the hall?.

Rudy's Screen Test
Informed of law firm's clients?

The last time he ran for mayor, Rudolph Giuliani quit a major Manhattan law firm when controversy erupted over the firm's representation of the government of Panamanian Gen. Manuel Noriega. Four years later, as he presses forward with his second campaign against David Dinkins, Giuliani is again aligned with a major law firm- Anderson Kill Olick & Oshinsky - and it too represents a number of controversial clients. Some of the more controversial ones, including a company that has been identified as controlled by organized crime, were already on board when the former mob-busting U.S. attorney decided to join the firm in 1990. Other clients, including two companies suspected of helping equip Iraq with materials to make chemical weapons, came later...One of the other companies listed last year as a client on Anderson Kill's "Matter File Listing" is German farm-equipment manufacturer Karl Mengele & Sons, the family firm of Nazi war criminal Josef Mengele. The U.S. Justice Department has said that the Mengele firm, founded by the father of the sadistic death-camp doctor, supplied economic support to the "Angel of Death" during the decades when he was a fugitive...

Chase Banked On Nazis - Report

Chase Manhattan Bank - allegedly helped the Nazis plunder Jewish property in France during World War II, according to a published report. The New York-based bank controlled by the Rockefeller family closed Jewish accounts even before the Germans ordered them to do so and did business with the Nazis while they were sending Jews to the gas chambers, Newsweek magazine reports in this week's edition. And while the U.S. was at war with the Nazis, Chase also apparently helped German banks do business with their overseas branches, the magazine reported. Chase Manhattan is now the largest bank company in the U.S. with more than $300 billion in assets...

Decency Panel Ripped For Cloaking Meeting

If Mayor Giuliani's decency commission is to decide what type of art is proper, then it should do so in public _ not behind closed doors, four civil rights groups charged. In a letter faxed to the commission's chairman, Leonard Garment, the New York Civil Liberties Union and three other civil rights groups charge that the new group's plan to meet behind closed doors this week is illegal under state laws requiring public access to government meetings. The groups say such an action would be illegal under the New York Open Meetings Law and several recent court decisions.
